Wag of the Finger

Diametrically opposed to the Tip of the Hat, we have the Wag of the Finger.

As the Tip of the Hat is a reward, a Wag of the Finger is a demerit.

Any action that involves a direct breach of orders without positive results to justify will earn you a Wag of the Finger.
Stealing from the Storehouse, even a little bit over time, will earn you a Wag of the Finger.

There a lot of little things that are covered by the first statement there. I will be highly hesitant to give a Wag of the Finger, but I will when it is necessary.

Your fourth Wag of the Fingers will get you a dishonorable discharge from the village.

However, you can redeem yourself. At a price of 50 Tip of the Hats, you can expunge one Wag of the Finger from your record. If I really believe you have reformed, when you request to have it expunged I may expunge it for free.
